  • Martin "Marty" Dupuis (He/Him)

    PRESIDENT & CO-FOUNDER

    Martin Dupuis, Ph.D., or “Dean Marty” as he’s known around the Honors College, is the Senior Associate Dean of BHC. Having worked at BHC for the past 15 years, Dean Marty’s work includes helping the various offices within the college, scheduling Honors classes, and collaborating with alumni, parents, and donors. Students may also recognize him as one of the leaders of Honors Symposium. “We have great students and part of the joy of being in higher education is helping people discover their dreams,” he states. He encourages students to dream big and contemplate, “What’s out there that I hadn’t considered before?”

  • Mike Dively (He/Him)

    CO-FOUNDER

    Michael Dively is an American politician and philanthropist. He served as a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 1968 to 1975, representing Traverse City, Michigan. He has supported LGBT rights in Key West, Florida and public education in Michigan.

  • Alan Wilson (He/Him)

    TREASURER

    Alan has enjoyed a varied and entrepreneurial career which started in public accounting. A graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, he started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina. After earning his CPA, Alan began his real estate development and homebuilding career by working with Arvida Communities and national public homebuilders including Morrison Homes and Ryland Homes, where he served in various leadership positions. During his homebuilding career, Alan built in the following markets: Atlanta, Sarasota, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, and Las Vegas.

    Since 2008, Alan has partnered with Central Florida’s philanthropist and developer Alan Ginsburg. Alan has served as Executive Vice President of various financial and real estate businesses including the construction and contribution of the Northview dorm at UCF.

    Alan enjoys traveling, the performing arts, playing piano and cooking for his family and friends. He has served on the Board of Directors or held committee positions in various nonprofit entities related to the arts, education and human rights

  • Neil Rios Laverde (He/Him)

    SECRETARY

    Neil Rios Laverde is the Philanthropic Relationship Manager at Central Florida Foundation, where he helps steward relationships with donors, community members, and nonprofits. With a strong background in philanthropy and nonprofit engagement, Neil is passionate about connecting people with opportunities to create lasting community impact.

    Neil has lived in Orlando since 2005, when he migrated with his family from Colombia. He earned a degree in communications with a focus on nonprofits from the University of Central Florida in 2020. Throughout college, he worked with organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community, including Equality Florida, the Zebra Coalition, and The Dru Project. These experiences deepened his passion for the nonprofit sector and strengthened his understanding of the industry.

    Neil has served on the board of Mukti for one year, where he has contributed to the development of the Queer Excellence Program, an initiative supporting LGBTQ+ young professionals through mentorship, internships, and workshops. Outside of work, he enjoys playing volleyball with Orlando’s OUT Sports League, going to the beach, and dancing to Latin music!

  • Emrys Murphy (They/Them)

    Emrys is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media and Studio Art, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Media. With a strong background in education and strategic leadership, Emrys excels at facilitating discussions, designing leadership curricula, and delivering impactful training sessions. Their philosophy focuses on nurturing critical thinking, promoting intellectual diversity, and fostering collaborative learning environments. Emrys is committed to staying informed about the evolving landscape of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) topics and is dedicated to driving meaningful change and creating inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals at UCF in their role as the Programs Coordinator for LGBTQ+ Student Support Services.
